Almond Honey

Studded with crisp whole almonds, this amazing honey is truly unique and delicious! Almond fans are certain to go nuts! This simplest of recipes can turn an ordinary breakfast into a culinary experience! - No exaggeration!

  • 1 cup (250 mL) liquid honey
  • 1/4 tsp (1 mL) almond extract
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) whole almonds (with skins)
  1. Pour honey into a medium bowl. First, stir extract in thoroughly, and then carefully stir in almonds.
  2. Store in a well sealed jar at room temperature for up to several weeks.
  3. Stir well before using. Serve in a shallow dish or spread directly on buttered toast/ English muffins or bagels.
Makes 1 1/3 cups (325 mL)
