  • Brent's Honey Lemonade

    Ingredients

    1/4 cup reconstituted lemon juice

    1/4 cup Ontario Honey

    lemon slices

    ice

    Directions

    Pour 1/4 cup lemon juice into a glass measuring cup.  Add 1/4 liquid honey and microwave on high for one minute.

    Pour into two litre container and rinse measuring cup into container with water until full.  Add ice and lemon slices.  Refridgerate.

  • Mango Mango Iced Tea

    Ingredients

    • 10 tsp Mango Mango Tea (either decaffeinated or regular black)
    • 1/3 cup Ontario Honey
    • 1/3 can White Lemon Concentrate (optional)

    Directions

    1. Bring 1 litre of water to a boil.
    2. In a teapot, steep 10 teaspoons of Mango Mango black tea for 5 to 7 minutes.
    3. Filter the leaves and pour the hot tea into a jug.
    4. Add Ontario Honey to sweeten and stir well
    5. (Optional) For a mango/lemony flavoured tea, also add 1/3 can of frozen white lemonade concentrate.  Note this will make the tea sweeter as well.
    6. Set aside to cool
    7. Refrigerate until cold.
    8. Serve chilled iced tea in a tall glass and enjoy!!
     This is an absolute favourite cold caffeine drink for those hot summer days.   This tea is great hot too!

  • Canadian Blueberry & Honey Iced Tea

    Ingredients

    • 2 tsp Canadian Blueberry Tea
    • 1 ½ tbsp Ontario Honey
    • 8 oz glassBoiling Water


    Directions

    1. Boil water and add to 2 tsp of tea
    2. Let steep tea for 8 minutes
    3. Strain tea into an 8 oz glass
    4. Add Ontario Honey to Sweeten and stir well
    5. Let cool and then refrigerate
    This tea is delightful served as a hot or chilled drink. This is a caffeine-free tea made from Nova Scotia blueberries, elderberries, apple pieces, rosehip, hibiscus, orange peel and natural flavours.  Enjoy!

  • Honey Ruby Red Grapefruitade

    Ingredients

    • 3/4 cup Ontario Honey
    • 3/4 cup Water
    • 6 cups fresh Ruby Red Grapefruit juice
    • 2 cups sparkling rosé, chilled (optional)

    Directions

    Bring honey and water to boil in a small saucepan, stirring to combine. Remove from heat and let cool.

    Combine juice and honey syrup in a pitcher (or cover and refrigerate for up to three days). Add rosé before serving. Serve over ice.

  • Fruity Honey Smoothie

    Ingredients

    • 1 cup frozen strawberries
    • 1 banana
    • 1/3 cup honey
    • 1 cup skim or nonfat milk
    • 1/2 cup plain or vanilla low-fat yogurt

    Directions

    In blender, combine all ingredients; process until smooth.

  • P-Nutty Warm Up

    Ingredients

    1/2 cup 100% Ontario honey
    1/3 cup smooth peanut butter
    4    cups milk
    nutmeg to taste

    Directions

    In a suacepan, combine honey and peanut butter.  Gradually stir in milk.  Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture is hot.  Pour into mugs and sprinkle with nutmeg, if desired.
    Makes 5 cups.
